The Story of Lokorum

Lokorum began in 2020 with a simple question: what do we need around us to truly feel well at home? From the very beginning, Lokorum was about understanding what kind of spaces support the way we want to live, feel and be.

The name Lokorum carries this idea within it. Its roots are inspired by genius loci — the Latin expression for the spirit of a place — and the Finnish dialect word lokoisa, describing something warm and comfortable. A place where it feels good to settle in and simply be.

From late 2026, Lokorum enters a new chapter with the opening of a physical space in Helsinki — bringing together yoga, embodied mentoring and heart-led leadership, alongside a curated shop for everyday rituals. A space where practice, connection and meaningful objects come together to support wellbeing in everyday life.
